NEW - re-usable , made to WHO/CDC guidelines.
Our face masks utilise 2-layers of hydrophobic fabric as the outer 2 layers (either 2 x layers of close weave polyester or 1 layer of close weave polyester fused to a layer of blown polypropylene) and an inner layer of soft, hydrophilic, cotton.
What does all this mean?
WHO guidance states that the 2 outer (hydrophobic) layers of fabric are intended to repel or limit the absorption of water vapour droplets which may carry infectious matter, reducing the chance of community transmission.
But the inner (hydrophilic) layer? This layer is intended to absorb the water vapour droplets you breath out. By capturing those water vapour droplets, it lowers the risk of you infecting someone else.
Is this better than 2-layer, or cotton, or linen, or... We believe so. Otherwise WHO and DHHS wouldn't be recommending masks made this way.
Oh, our masks fit well too. That is also very important. If they don't fit well, there is not really a lot of point wearing a mask.
