Founded in 2009 by Julia Van Der Sommen, a 26 year veteran of the textile industry, Sample Room is a one-stop development house. 

Sample Room specialises in all of the element which preceed the production of textile products, principally wearable textiles.  This includes patterns, samples, grading, markers, etc. Without these, a manufacturer can't make what you need made. 

Our  new workroom is based in Collingwood and we have everything under the one roof to deal with almost any type of garment or textile products. There are a few exceptions.

Our team was 7 strong when we moved to Collingwood, but have increased our team by 5 over the course of the last month. With strong demand for on-shore development and manufacturing, we hope this gives the industry here a boost.
